1. Introduction

This Astrologer Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, and protection of personal and professional data provided by astrologers, numerologists, tarot readers, palmists, and other practitioners ("Astrologer Partners" or "you") who register on the AapkeSitare platform. AapkeSitare is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with the same care and sincerity extended to our users. By registering as an Astrologer Partner, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

 

2. Information We Collect from Astrologers

2.1 Registration & Professional Information

  • Full name, date of birth, gender, and profile photograph.
  • Mobile number and email address (used for account access, communication, and payouts).
  • Area(s) of expertise: Vedic astrology, numerology, tarot, palmistry, etc.
  • Years of experience, educational qualifications, and professional certifications.
  • Languages in which consultations are offered.
  • A short bio and detailed profile description displayed to users.

 

2.2 Identity Verification & Compliance

  • Government-issued photo ID (e.g., Aadhaar, PAN card, passport) — for KYC verification and regulatory compliance.
  • Bank account details or UPI ID — collected solely for processing earnings payouts. Stored securely and never shared with users.
  • Device information and IP address — for account security, fraud prevention, and login monitoring.

 

2.3 Performance & Activity Data

  • Consultation logs: session dates, durations, categories, and session counts.
  • Ratings and reviews submitted by users about your sessions.
  • Earnings records, payout history, and wallet balance data.
  • Response time, availability status, and session acceptance/rejection data.

 

3. How We Use Astrologer Information

  • To create, verify, and display your public astrologer profile on the platform.
  • To connect you with users seeking consultations in your area of expertise.
  • To process your earnings, calculate per-minute session charges, and disburse payouts.
  • To conduct KYC verification as required by applicable Indian regulations.
  • To send you platform notifications, session requests, payout confirmations, and policy updates.
  • To monitor session quality, respond to user complaints, and maintain platform standards.
  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, including tax reporting (TDS deductions as applicable).

 

4. Sharing of Astrologer Information

We do not sell your personal data. Information may be shared only as follows:

  • Your public profile (name, photo, expertise, experience, ratings, and bio) is visible to all users on the platform.
  • Your contact details and bank details are never shared with users or third parties except as required by law.
  • Financial data may be shared with payment processors and banking partners strictly for payout processing.
  • Verification data may be shared with regulated identity verification service providers under confidentiality agreements.
  • With legal or regulatory authorities when required by law, court order, or government directive.

 

5. Data Security & Confidentiality

AapkeSitare applies the same industry-standard security measures for astrologer data as for user data — including SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Your bank details and identity documents are stored in encrypted, access-controlled storage accessible only to authorised finance and compliance personnel.

 

6. Consultation Confidentiality

As an Astrologer Partner, you are required to maintain strict confidentiality with respect to all information shared by users during consultations. You must not:

  • Share, reproduce, or discuss user consultation details with any third party.
  • Use user personal information for any purpose outside the scope of providing the consultation.
  • Store or record user consultation content outside the AapkeSitare platform.

Breach of consultation confidentiality may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

 

7. Retention & Deletion

Your astrologer account data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law. To request account deactivation or data deletion, email support@aapkesitare.com. Certain financial and compliance records may be retained for the legally mandated minimum period even after account closure.

 

8. Your Rights

  • Access your account data and earnings records at any time through the Astrologer Portal.
  • Request correction of inaccurate profile or account information via the portal or by emailing support@aapkesitare.com.
  • Request deletion of your account, subject to regulatory retention requirements.
  • Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

 

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered Astrologer Partners via email to their registered address. Continued use of the Astrologer Portal after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
